The Settings Tab is where you configure the essential elements of your online store, ensuring it is functional, professional, and tailored to your business needs. From naming your store and connecting a domain to setting up tracking codes and optimizing performance, this tab provides all the tools you need to manage your store effectively.


Accessing the Settings Tab


Navigate to Sites > Stores in your dashboard. Select the store you want to manage.

Click on the Settings Tab to view and configure your store’s settings.

Click on this icon to view detailed information about your store’s URL and other configuration details.

Settings Menu 


The Settings menu serves as the control hub for configuring the essential elements of your store. Here’s a breakdown of its key features.

Name


You can assign a unique name to your store or edit the existing one. A clear and meaningful name helps you easily identify the store within your dashboard.

Domain


Connect your store to a custom domain to make it live and accessible to the public. To do so, simply use the dropdown to select your domain, or click the Add/Edit Domains option to add a domain.

Path


Set the default URL path for your store, which determines how users navigate to your main page.

Favicon URL


Add a favicon (a small icon or logo) on browser tabs. Paste the URL of your favicon image (.png or .ico) into this field to apply it across all pages.

Head Tracking Code


Insert your store’s head tracking code to enable advanced functionalities such as analytics, SEO tags, and third-party integrations.

Body Tracking Code


Paste the body tracking code to track user behavior, implement scripts, or enable specific functionalities across your store.

Chat Widget


Integrate a chat widget to enhance customer interaction and support. Configure the widget settings to align with your business needs.

Payment Mode


Toggle the payment mode to manage transactions:

  • On: Enable live payments for customer transactions.
  • Off: Test payment functionality without processing real payments.

Image Optimization


Turn image optimization on to reduce file sizes for faster page loading, or turn it off for maximum image quality if preferred.

GDPR Compliant Fonts


Ensure your store adheres to GDPR by using compliant fonts. This is essential for stores targeting EU audiences.

Require Credit Card


Enable this option to require credit card details during checkout, ensuring secure payment processing.

Optimize JavaScript


Enable JavaScript optimization to improve your store’s performance by minimizing and streamlining code execution.

Delete Store


If you no longer need a store, use this option to delete it permanently. Be cautious, as this action cannot be undone.

Save Settings


After making any changes, click the Save button to apply them. This ensures your updates are successfully implemented.
